When selecting organizations and charitable efforts that TITAN Impact will support, the team is particularly drawn to projects that fulfill one, but several, of the five key areas we focus on.
These are:
- Community development
- Health and wellness
- Education
- Environment
- Sport
So how could we resist the opportunity to help the under-14 girls‘ team at the Danish club Rudersdal Håndbold , which brings together players from the towns of Ydun, AB, Brøndby, Ledøje Smørum and Virum?
When support covers sports, community development, health and wellness in one broad sweep, it’s no wonder we’ve actually been helping girls for several years .
Our latest involvement was providing new jerseys: not only did the young players need a shiny white strip for their matches, but they were also looking for fleece jackets to keep them warm during Denmark’s notoriously cold winters.
As seen in the picture, the girls were also able to customize their jerseys with their own numbers – just like their handball heroes in the Danish women’s national team, which is one of the best teams in the world.
WHY WE DECIDED TO SUPPORT THIS PROJECT
This project ticks so many boxes for us: young female athletes, a fantastic sport that is growing in popularity, and players from diverse local areas. TITAN Impact is all about building communities and driving positive change, and Rudersdal Håndbold embodies exactly that.
